Fäboda Gård

The property was bought in 1957 by Markus grandparents and 1976 his parents became the owners. In April 2005 we bought Fäboda Gård.

When we took over there was 32 dairy cows and around 40 heifers in various age. The cows were milked in a tie stall.

20091012 we opened up the doors to the brand new 2 row automatic milking stable. An isolated free stall with place for 70 dairy cows. The heifers are in a separate cold free stall and the calves and young heifers are in the old rebuilt tie stall.
The dairy cows are feed with TMR from a rail wagon. The cows are milked by a Lely A3 next.

Our joy and focus is the dairy breed and the goal is a long living cow with good exterior. We use all semen from Semex Canada.
Embryo transfer is a growing interest and we have through embryos and auctions in Sweden bought some Canadian cow families as example Inksou from Pennview, Maud-Red from Westport, Silence (from the Story Lindy family) and, in partnership with Norrabyns Lantbruk, Lynda(the Lulu family) from Hanoverhill.
